Spring Break Broventure

This Spring Break nine bros and I spent about five days around central Oregon.  Our trip began at Horsethief Butte along the Columbia, then Fort Rock and the Deschutes River, and Smith Rock.  The time was filled with desert, rocks, steaks over the fire, an excellent trail mixture, laughter and generally revelry.

Grandma Reed told us that this was the hotel that her mom and dad (Ann Doris Cooley and Elmer Snyder) spent their honeymoon in the 1920s!  The hotel was built in 1887.

Banff and home...

spring break in rocky mountain house, alberta.  The upper peninsula meets montana.  Skidooing on frozen lakes, cross-country skiing up frozen rivers and general merriment.... finally a taste of canadian winter and a restful spring break.
