Landscape Over Willamette Valley

One of my first pieces in painting this year.  It is about 1.5'x5' and it looks over Newberg area.  I drove to the top of the nearby ridge with a friend and we took pictures and I collected grass that I incorporated into the canvas as texture.  I am going to continue to experiment with adding grass/twine as texture with gesso in my pieces.
